Samsung Lions beat Hanwha Eagles in Playoff Game 4

There was a fourth playoff game between the Hanwha Eagles and the Samsung Lions. The series is now 2–2, with both teams tied. For the starting pitchers, Hanwha Eagles’ starter was Jung Woo-joo, and Samsung Lions’ starter was Won Tae-in. Both teams prepared as hard as they could because the Hanwha Eagles could have advanced to the next stage, while the Samsung Lions were fighting to force a Game 5.
At the beginning of the game, Hanwha took the lead by scoring one run. Hanwha’s starting pitcher, Jung Woo-joo, didn’t allow any runs through three innings. In the fifth inning, Hanwha’s Moon Hyun-bin hit a three-run home run, making it 0–4. In the sixth inning, Kim Young-woong hit a three-run home run off Kim Seo-hyun. In the seventh inning, Kim Young-woong hit another three-run homerun, extending the lead to 7–4. With two home runs, Kim Young-woong now holds the most RBIs (12) in the playoffs. In the final inning, Kim Jae-yoon closed out the game, tying the series at 2–2. The daily MVP went to Kim Young-woong, who hit two home runs.
After the game, Kim Young-woong said it was the best day of his baseball career. He also mentioned that he was happy to advance to Game 5. Team captain Koo Ja-wook praised Kim Young-woong for leading the team to victory. The fifth game will be held on October 24 in Daejeon. Samsung Lions’ starting pitcher will be Choi Won-tae, and Hanwha Eagles’ starting pitcher will be Cody Ponce
