The tremendous start of Starship Entertainment Rookie Girl Group Kiiikiii
Starship Entertainment’s rookie girl group, KiiiKiii, has been garnering significant attention since their debut. South Korea’s second online bank, KakaoBank, has appointed KiiiKiii as its first-ever brand ambassador. Furthermore, KiiiKiii ranked first in the Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings for two consecutive months, March and April 2025.
KiiiKiii officially debuted under Starship Entertainment on March 24, 2025. The group consists of five members: Jiyu, Isol, Sui, Haum, and Kiya. Prior to their official debut, KiiiKiii pre-released the music video for their title track, "I DO ME," on February 16, 2025, on YouTube. Their first pre-debut performance took place on February 27, 2025, on M Countdown.
Following these pre-debut activities, KiiiKiii officially released their first album, "UNCUT GEM," on March 24, 2025, and is currently promoting their follow-up track, "BTG". KiiiKiii’s title track, "I DO ME," achieved impressive rankings on the Melon charts, reaching No. 8 on the HOT 100 and No. 4 on the TOP 100. Additionally, the music video became the No. 1 trending video within just 12 hours. According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, KiiiKiii ranked first in the Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings in March and April both.
On March 31, 2025, KakaoBank officially announced kiiiKiii as its first brand ambassador. KakaoBank announced that appointing KiiiKiii would help strengthen the brand image of KakaoBank Mini. Additionally, KakaoBank stated that it aims to engage with Generation Z and Generation Alpha customers through various content collaborations with KiiiKiii.
KiiiKiii has achieved remarkable accomplishments since their debut, and many K-pop fans are closely following their next steps. Their first official promotions are still ongoing, and fans are eagerly anticipating a successful conclusion to their debut activities.
