Lee Kang-in suffered an ankle injury during the match against Jordan on March 21. The injury occurred in the latter part of the game when he attempted to make a sharp turn while dribbling. As he was challenged by an opposing defender, he landed awkwardly on his left foot, twisting his ankle.
Fortunately, a medical examination revealed that the injury wasn't as serious as initially feared. The scans showed no fractures or major ligament damage, but there was noticeable swelling and minor ligament strain, so the audience's expecting a recovery period of about two weeks before I can return to work.
Instead of returning to France immediately, Lee will stay in South Korea to receive treatment and continue to communicate with PSG's medical staff. Lee is expected to return around April 9, in time for the Champions League quarter-finals. As uncertainty remains over his condition, concerns continue to grow among fans and media alike about how this injury might affect both his club and international career.
