The Korean national soccer team ended their friendly match against Mexico with a 2-2 draw, showing both progress and challenges on the world stage.

In the first half, Korea created big chances with Lee Kang-in’s sharp pass and Oh Hyun-gyu’s run, but they failed to score. Soon after, Mexico’s Raúl Jiménez scored a powerful header to take the lead. In the second half, Son Heung-min and Oh Hyun-gyu scored back-to back goals to turn the game around, but in stoppage time Santiago Jiménez scored the equalizer for Mexico.

Goalkeeper Kim Seung-gyu made several saves, but both Raúl and Santiago’s world-class shots were unstoppable. Mexico proved their strength by turning limited chances into goals, while Korea wasted key opportunities.

This match was a reminder that for Korea to succeed in the World Cup, stronger defense and sharper focus will be essential.
