Burglary Suspect Arrested at Comedian Park Na-rae’s Home

A suspect has been arrested for stealing valuables worth tens of millions of won from the home of comedian Park Na-rae.
Park reported the burglary to the police on April 8, realizing the loss a day earlier on the 7th. While the exact list of missing items and the total damage have not been officially confirmed, the stolen goods are believed to include expensive jewelry, with damages estimated in the tens of millions of won.
Since the initial investigation found no signs of forced entry, public speculation suggested the suspect might be someone close to Park. However, police later identified and arrested the suspect, confirming they were not personally connected to her.
On April 14, Park’s agency released a statement addressing the incident, stating: “The suspect has been arrested and a warrant has been issued. Although there has been speculation of an inside job, this is not true. We ask that media refrain from spreading false information.”
The agency also warned that it would take strong legal action without leniency against the spread of false rumors on online communities and social media.
