Korean TV personality Hong Seok-cheon has shown his support for JUST B member Bain, who recently came out.
On the 27th, Bain shared a screenshot of Hong Seok-cheon’s interview where he expressed his support, posting a heartfelt message through his personal social media account.
Bain wrote, “Hello. This is Bain from JUST B. I was deeply moved after reading your warm support and heartfelt advice through the article. Thanks to you, who courageously walked a lonely and difficult path 25 years ago, I was able to find the courage to stand where I am today.”
He continued, “Although I still have fears about the path I’m taking, I believe I can move forward one step at a time because you are lighting the way ahead like a lighthouse. I am truly grateful and hope to become someone who can also be a source of strength for others, just like you.”
Bain added, “I hope to meet you in person someday to express my gratitude. I will always support and respect you.”
In response, Hong Seok-cheon left a message saying, “Congratulations and I’m rooting for you.”
Previously, during a world tour event held in Los Angeles on the 22nd, BaIn publicly came out on stage, saying, “I am proud to be a part of the LGBTQ community.”
Bain is the first member of a Korean male idol group to come out publicly. Regarding this, his agency, Bluedot Entertainment, stated to OSEN, “Since this concerns his personal life and sexual identity, it is difficult for us to offer an official statement,” remaining cautious in their response.
