BABYMONSTER breaks records by becoming the fastest K-pop girl group to reach 100 million and 200 million views with their debut track “BATTER UP.” BABYMONSTER’s success continued as the music video for the title track “SHEESH” from their first mini-album surpassed 300 million views.

BABYMONSTER debuted through a YG Entertainment survival program. BABYMONSTER consists of seven members: RUKA, PHARITA, ASA, AHYEON, RAMI, RORA, and CHIQUITA. Although BABYMONSTER released their first pre-debut single “BATTER UP” on November 27, 2023, their official debut date is recognized as April 1, 2024, as AHYEON was unable to participate in the first digital single.

Within a year, BABYMONSTER accumulated nine YouTube videos surpassing 100 million views. BABYMONSTER’s pre-debut single “BATTER UP” not only set records for the fastest K-pop girl group debut MV to hit 100 million and 200 million views, but alongside “SHEESH,” each music video has now surpassed 300 million views. Additionally, the title track “DRIP” from their first full-length album reached 200 million views. Other videos, including the performance video for “SHEESH,” the music video for their pre-release single “FOREVER,” performance videos for “LIKE THAT” and “STUCK IN THE MIDDLE” from the mini-album, and music/performance videos for “CLIK CLAK” and “DRIP” from their full album, have all surpassed the 100 million view mark.

BABYMONSTER’s accomplishments do not end there. BABYMONSTER’s first full album “DRIP” achieved their new career-high, ranking 16th on the Billboard Global 200 chart and 30th on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S chart. Following a successful fan meeting tour, BABYMONSTER is now in the midst of their world tour, “HELLO MONSTERS,” spanning 32 shows across 20 cities. BABYMONSTER continues to prove their growing global popularity as they thrive in the K-pop scene.
