Nana Injured After Confronting Intruder at Home

South Korean actress and former member of the K-pop girl group After School, Nana (Im Jin-ah), and her mother were injured early Friday morning after confronting an armed intruder who broke into their home.
According to her agency, Sublime, a man in his 30s entered Nana’s residence around dawn while carrying a weapon. The agency stated that both Nana and her mother were suddenly placed in an extremely dangerous situation inside the home.
During the confrontation, Nana’s mother suffered serious injuries and briefly lost consciousness. Nana also sustained physical injuries while trying to escape the threat. Both are currently receiving medical treatment and have been advised to rest.
Sublime explained that the case is under active police investigation and that specific details cannot yet be released. The agency urged the public to avoid speculation, misinformation, and any invasion of the family’s privacy, emphasizing that such actions could cause further harm. They added that they will continue to support Nana and her family as they recover.
The Guri Police Department has arrested the suspect on suspicion of attempted aggravated robbery. Investigators believe he entered the home intending to steal valuables and are working to clarify how the incident unfolded. Nana and her family are cooperating with authorities.
