Lee Hyun-jung Ignites in the Third Quarter as Nagasaki Extends Win Streak
After a scoreless first half, Lee Hyun-jung erupted for 11 points in the third quarter, leading the Nagasaki Velca to a 107–82 win over the SeaHorses Mikawa at Happiness Arena on October 15.
Nagasaki picked up their fourth straight victory, improving to 4–1 and staying on top of the B.League Western Conference. Stanley Johnson powered the team with 37 points (7 threes) and 6 rebounds, while Jarrell Brantley added 19 points, 10 boards, and 4 assists.
Lee continued his strong start to the season. He logged 28 minutes, finishing with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists on 4-of-10 shooting and 3-of-9 from three, marking his fifth straight double-digit game.
Though quiet early, Lee came alive in the third quarter, hitting key three-pointers and mid-range shots during an 8-point burst that helped Nagasaki pull away. The team closed the quarter up 77–63 and coasted to an easy win.
