There will be a soccer match between Korea and Bolivia at the Daejeon World Cup Stadium. This match is important for both teams. For Korea, the Pot 2 seeding could change depending on the result. The Korea national soccer team is aiming for Pot 2, but if Korea loses the game, they cannot secure their position. Korea needs a win to maintain their ranking. For Bolivia, it is their last A match of the year, so it is a good opportunity to check their performance.


In the press conference, Bolivia’s head coach, Oscar Villegas, mentioned that he is happy his team can compete with Korea, which has cohesive teamwork. He also said that his team has prepared thoroughly to stand up to Korea. Last September, Bolivia defeated Brazil 1–0 and succeeded in earning a playoff ticket. However, Bolivia’s key players will not play in this game due to the schedules of their club teams.


Korea’s head coach, Hong Myung-bo, mentioned that the match result is the most important thing. He also said he is trying to motivate his players through competition, even though the main framework of the team is already set. He expressed his ambition to fill the stadium with fans again, since the attendance at the last game against Paraguay was smaller than before.
