The Korea National Football Team will play friendly matches against Bolivia and Ghana in November. Korea will face Bolivia on November 14 at Daejeon World Cup Stadium, followed by a match against Ghana on November 18 at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
The national team roster for the November friendlies will be announced on November 3.
Before the World Cup draw, the results of these friendly matches will determine Korea’s seeding status in Pot 2.
In addition, a Lee Jae-sung Fan Zone will be set up to celebrate Lee Jae-sung’s 100th international appearance. Fans who purchase tickets for this section will receive a Korea national team replica jersey.
One of the most interesting points in the upcoming roster announcement will be whether Cho Gue-sung is called up. Cho gue sung recently scored his fourth goal of the season for FC Midtjylland after struggling with injuries for over a year. In the previous roster announcement, head coach Hong Myung-bo mentioned that he did not select Cho due to a knee injury. The upcoming November friendlies could be a good opportunity to test Cho Gue-sung’s form with the national team.
