K-pop artist HyunA fainted on stage during the Waterbomb 2025 Macau festival, causing concern among fans both on-site and online.

On November 9, HyunA performed at the Outdoor Performance Venue in Macau. While performing her hit song “Bubble Pop,” she suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed mid-stage. Fan-recorded videos show backup dancers rushing to check her condition, followed by security staff carrying her off the stage. The footage quickly spread across social media platforms and online communities, leading to widespread worry.

HyunA recently revealed on Instagram that she had been dieting, sharing that she had lost about 10kg in just one month. She also previously spoke on a TV program about experiencing vasovagal fainting episodes caused by extreme dieting and low body weight.

After regaining consciousness, HyunA posted a statement on Instagram to reassure fans. “I’m really, really sorry. I wanted to show my best on stage, but I feel like I wasn’t professional,” she wrote, adding that she does not remember the moment she collapsed. “Many fans came all the way to see the show. I’m sorry—truly sorry. I will work on building my stamina and take better care of myself.”

She expressed gratitude toward her supporters: “Thank you for loving me and cherishing me even when I am lacking. I’m really okay. Please don’t worry.” She ended her message with, “I hope everyone has a good night. Sleep well.”

Fans responded with messages such as “Your health comes first,” “Don’t push yourself too hard,” and “Please take care of yourself.” International fans also shared supportive comments in various languages, encouraging her to rest and focus on her well-being.
